SUMMARY: BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA is the story of Chloe, a pampered Chihuahua who is "dog-napped" and tries to make her way back home to Beverly Hills. This fun-filled movie is great for the whole family with positive themes and a noticeable absence of negative content.
IN BRIEF:
BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA is the story of Chloe, a pampered Chihuahua who is "dog-napped" and tries to make her way back home to Beverly Hills. Chloe is left in the care of Rachel, the irresponsible niece of a wealthy socialite. With Chloe in tow, Rachel heads to Mexico for a fun weekend. While there, Chloe is stolen by a gang of thieves. Rachel returns to Mexico with landscaper Sam and his pet Chihuahua, Papi, in search of Chloe. Papi is in love with Chloe. Meanwhile, a brave German Shepherd named Delgado rescues Chloe. Delgado helps Chloe try to get back home. An adventure full of sacrifice ensues before Rachel, Sam and Papi are able to reunite with Chloe.
BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA is a well-made movie that the whole family can enjoy together. The directing is sure handed and the script is lots of fun, with many twists, turns and enjoyable moments. While the human actors do a great job, the stars are really the dogs, who are voiced by celebrities. All production values are top notch. The movie has no foul language and contains positive themes of sacrifice and responsibility.
