SUMMARY: In FRIENDS FOR LIFE, Jim has to defeat an evil developer before he destroys a tiny town. Although FRIENDS FOR LIFE has positive messages about helping others and fighting greed, there is an anti-capitalist theme, the spiritual elements are watered down and there are many save yourself messages that ignore the free gift of God's salvation through Jesus Christ. Finally, only the last part of the movie has a bit of entertainment value.

IN BRIEF:

In FRIENDS FOR LIFE, Jim has just lost his wife Pam. An angel named Ralph shows up and encourages Jim to start thinking of others. So, when Jim discovers that Pam's friendly wolf Sierra has been shot and has puppies, he cares for the pups. A greedy developer named Beddows, shows up and the question arises, "How can Jim defeat the evil developer, before Beddows destroys the little people of this tiny hamlet?"

FRIENDS FOR LIFE has positive messages about helping others, having hope, sacrificial giving, and fighting corruption and greed. Within those messages is a slight anti-capitalist message. Even worse, the spiritual elements are so watered down that the story makes the angel an ambassador of a god who doesn't seem able to do anything although He is credited with some positive attributes. Furthermore, there are a lot of "works" orientated save yourself messages that ignore the Good News of the free gift of God's salvation through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Most of the dialogue is static. The voiceover is excessive. The acting is bland. Only the last part of the movie has a bit of entertainment value.
