SUMMARY: In SAW IV, though he is dead, the evil serial killer Jigsaw's tape-recorded voice challenges a black detective named Rigg to save two other detectives who were working on the case. Of course, the new boring, despicable SAW movie is full of the same graphic amounts of blood, gore, violence, and foul language as the previous ones.

IN BRIEF:

In SAW IV, though he is dead, the serial killer Jigsaw's tape-recorded voice challenges a black policeman named Rigg to save two other detectives working on the case. The two detectives are tied to a Jigsaw contraption that will kill them in 90 minutes. Jigsaw leads Rigg through a gruesome series of tests helping other victims survive Jigsaw's traps. As in most of the tests, the victims have character flaws that are part of the test. Meanwhile, two FBI agents follow Rigg's trail. They come to suspect that Jigsaw had a second accomplice besides Amanda, a woman who appeared in the previous movies.

Of course, the new SAW movie is full of the same graphic amounts of blood, gore, violence, and foul language as the previous ones. It opens with an extremely graphic autopsy with Jigsaw's dead nude body. There is also a subplot involving a serial rapist who gets trapped in one of Jigsaw's torture devices. These new torture movies are boring and despicable. If no one goes to them, Hollywood will not make any more of them. Please help MOVIEGUIDEŽ convince the general movie audience to shun these movies.
